I never had Greek food. I found this online and called. The owner was so pleasant and answered my questions about the herbs and what tzatziki is. I had my very first gyro and it was amazing ! I added lettuce. I was surprised that I enjoyed the tzatziki sauce. I love that the sauce was on the bottom. I’ve seen other places drench the sauce on top and it turned me off from trying it. I decided to try and be open minded. The potato wedges were so good and flavorful! The Greek cola drinks were good too. First time customer, first time having Greek food and I’ll be back!

I’ve been ordering from The Greek since they opened, and I’ve tried many Greek restaurants around Fairfield County. I can confidently say that this is by far the best Greek restaurant around! The food is ALWAYS GOOD. The fact that it’s consistently delicious, with generous portions and fresh ingredients, is amazing. I’ve ordered by phone and through Uber Eats, and every time, the food is a 10/10. Customer service—whether by phone or in person—is always 10/10 as well. I also love the variety of dishes. I think I’ve ordered everything on the menu, and once again, it’s always 10/10.

Been looking for a new pizza shop in Bethel, ever since Famous Pizza changed the recipe and their pizza is not as good anymore. Well folks here it is. They just opened, so the sign isn't up yet and the menu isn't really available, but we tried two pies and they are the best around! Equivalent to going to New Haven our opinion!! The hot pepper herb garlic chicken pizza was fantastic and my wife loved her Supreme!

Well if the food wasn’t amazing, you’d still want to give 5 stars because of the amazing family who owns and runs The Greek! Having said that, the food IS amazing!! The hummus - delicious! The tzatziki - could be a meal, I mean the freshness and the quality of the ingredients are so obvious! The gyro was solid and the desserts beyond good! Can’t say enough - definitely the go to place for Greek food - 10/10 recommend!

We decided to try this place and it surely did t disappoint! The atmosphere was very warm, and so were the people. We ordered the beef and lamb gyro platter and the grilled chicken platter and both were excellent. The salad that came with each dish was huge, with a large chunk of feta cheese each, kalamata olives, two stuffed grape leaves, and a delicious dressing. I have to say the salads were a meal in themselves. The chicken was well seasoned and tender, and so was the gyro, and there was plenty of both. The rice was delicious, I love rice and this was probably the best rice I’ve had in a long time. Everything was delicious and made from scratch by the owner George and his wife. George also gifted us a container of homemade rice pudding and a piece of ravani, a popular Greek desert We didn’t try these yet, too stuffed from the delicious meal, but I’m looking forward to try them tomorrow. Great experience, both my wife and I loved and highly recommend The Greek to anyone who loves Greek food, and we can’t wait to go back. I think we’ll try pastitsio and spanakopita next time, maybe even a pizza made in that beautiful fire oven! And last but not least, I want to mention our wonderful server who also happens to be the owner’s son, and a very polite and friendly young man. If you’re into good food and a family atmosphere you must try this little gem!
